If you are experiencing symptoms of heart disease, your primary doctor may send you to a cardiologist for evaluation. The cardiologist will then order the appropriate cardio testing to pinpoint the cause of your symptoms. Depending on the severity of your condition, you may undergo coronary procedures such as cardiac catheterization or balloon angioplasty.
The Woodlands Oaks Hospital provides a comprehensive program for patients with cardiovascular disease, including non-invasive testing. All patients undergo assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation to ensure we meet individual care needs.
